– The business challenge is part of the job excellence program and was launched on 6 October 2025 with 19 participants. What the challenge does is it challenges people in terms of their mindset that they cannot do things outside of their world of experience.

To this end the course attendees are given a R 50 and in 2 weeks they need to start a little business, make some money and generate a profit an after 2 weeks bring the profit back.

The initial capital of R 50 is returned and the student with the highest margin of profit is declared the winner.

What makes this entire experience so much fun is that the cumulative amount goes to the winner of the Business Challenge. This is mandatory and forms for of the Certificate of Excellence. The winner will be announced 26 October – watch this space.
